If you're a Gmail user, not a bulk sender, and have issues sending mail from your account, learn how to fix bounced or rejected emails

Senders who follow the Sender Guidelines, and still experience an excessive rate of spam classification along with a proportionally low volume of user spam reports may submit a request for mitigation.

Requests for mitigation are reviewed against a set of objective criteria and thresholds. The established thresholds are used to evaluate the risk of unwanted emails arriving to Gmail and Workspace end users following mitigations.

Mitigations are used to temporarily disable the enforcement signals responsible for undesirable spam classification. Upon expiration of the mitigations, the sending domain should be in good standing to send without further assistance contingent on senders following best practices described above.
