Google Maps Content Partners Additional Terms of Service
Last Modified: August 24, 2022
If you have entered into a content license agreement with Google for the content that you are uploading through Google Maps Content Partners, then the content you upload is licensed to Google under the terms of that content license agreement, and not these Terms.
If you have not entered into a content license agreement with Google for the data that you are uploading, then to use Google Maps Content Partners you must accept: (1) the Google Terms of Service, and (2) these Google Maps Content Partners Additional Terms of Service (the “Additional Terms”).
Please read each of these documents carefully. Together, these documents are known as the “Terms”. They establish what you can expect from us as you use our services, and what we expect from you.
If these Additional Terms conflict with the Google Terms of Service, these Additional Terms will govern for Google Maps Content Partners.
If you’re accepting these Terms on behalf of your employer or organization, you represent and warrant that: (a) you have full legal authority to bind your employer or organization to these terms, (b) you have read and understand these terms, and (c) you agree to these terms on behalf of your employer or organization. If you don't have the legal authority to bind, please do not check the box in the tool.
License
When you upload data, you grant to Google a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive, worldwide, sub-licensable license to use the data. You represent and warrant that you have and will retain all necessary rights to provide this license to Google.
You understand that, once data is uploaded to Google Maps Content Partners it won’t be able to be deleted from Google's systems, and you won’t be able to require Google or sub-licensees to stop using it.
No personal data
You represent and warrant that you are not uploading any personal data or personally-identifiable information through the Google Maps Content Partners.
Google account and contact information
You understand that Google may internally associate your data with your Google Account and the contact information you provided. Deleting your Google Account will not automatically delete that contact information. To delete that contact information, you must use the "Delete organization" button on the provider details page. After deletion of that contact information and your Google Account, Google may continue to internally associate your organization name with your data.
Compliance with applicable laws
You represent and warrant that data uploaded with Google Maps Content Partners complies with applicable laws.
