If we need to add or edit road information in Google Maps, you can let us know. Google Maps road errors include:
- Incorrect road names
- Incorrect info about one- and two-way roads
- An incorrectly drawn road
- Road closures
- A road on the map that doesn't exist
- Missing roads
- Incorrect marker locations.
Important: You can only submit edits to Maps in some countries and regions.
Fix incorrect info about a road
- On your computer, open Google Maps.
- At the top left, click Menu .
- On the left, click Edit the map Add or fix a road.
- On the map, select the road that you want to fix.
- On the left, verify the road segment selected.
- Under 'Edit information', select the type of info that you want to fix and enter the correction.
- Click Done Submit.
Add a missing road
- On your computer, open Google Maps.
- Click Menu .
- On the left, click Edit the map Add or fix a road.
- On the top, click Add road.
- On the map, click the location where the missing road begins and drag to the location where the road ends.
- On the left, add the road name and road type and click Done.
- To add additional missing roads, repeat steps 4–6.
- Click Submit.
