Add or edit information about places
You can publicly add missing places like public landmarks, coffee shops, or other local businesses to the map. Learn more about adding a missing place in maps.

Add or fix addresses
You can publicly add or edit mailing addresses. You can also fix where packages are delivered or change pin locations. Learn more about how to fix an address.
Add or fix a road
If we need to add roads to Google Maps or something on the map isn’t right, you can tell us.
Remove an incorrect or fraudulent listing
You can report businesses or the names of places for offensive, fake, spam, or inappropriate content.
Tip: For legal issues, such as copyright or trademark disputes, submit a report.
- Open Google Maps .
- Find the place you want to report for review.
- Select the place Suggest an edit Close or remove.
- Choose the reason the place should be removed.
- Click Submit.
Find your edits & understand their status
On your phone or tablet, you can find a list of edits and places you’ve added on Google Maps. Your edits are only visible to you. You may not get Local Guide points if someone already edited the same place before you.
Report spam or bad data
Any illegal, offensive, fraudulent, or malicious data on Google Maps is considered as spam. Users found to be involved in spam will be banned.

Report other content errors on Google Maps
Report incorrect gas pricesGas stations show current gasoline prices in their Business Profile on Google Maps and Search. To find gas prices, customers can search "gas stations" or a specific brand.
If the gas price data is incorrect, reach out to OPIS.
Google doesn't blur satellite or aerial imagery. If a government requests to blur, we ask the government to direct their request to our third party imagery providers. Satellite and aerial imagery is commercially available on the market, which includes other map services, from the third party providers.
If you're part of a government entity, you can escalate a request for more information.Important: This feature is currently available in the USA only.
When you look for a venue which hosts events, the Overview and Tickets tabs show:
- Upcoming events at the venue
- Ticket prices for the events hosted at the venue
- Platforms where you can book or reserve event tickets
If the event ticket prices are incorrect, you can report through this form.
Report outdated Satellite or Street View imagery
If you want to report outdated imagery to our team, fill out the request information on this form. Your feedback guides us to determine where imagery updates are most important. Keep in mind that Google can't commit to a specific timeline for updates.

- Locate the image.
- Click More Report a problem.
- Select the issue and click Submit.
- We'll review your report promptly.
