Save your favourite places on Maps to easily find them on any computer, phone or tablet.

- To save and find favourite places on Maps, make sure that you sign in to your Google Account.
- Saved lists are limited to 500 entries. Lists with more entries may not display properly.
You can add your favourite places to a list to find them easily later. Saving a place is different from downloading an offline area or adding a place. Learn how to download an offline area or add a place to Google Maps.
To save a place:
- On your computer, open Google Maps.
- Click or search for a business, place or a set of coordinates.
- Click Save and select a list.
Only you can find your saved places unless you create and share a list of places. Google may anonymously share combined information about users’ saved places.
Save a place from another website
If a website has a map embedded from Google Maps, you can save that place to your Google Account.
- Open the website with a map embedded from Google Maps.
- Click a place on the map.
- Click Save and select a list.
Your star and the website name will appear on both the computer and mobile app versions of Google Maps.
- On your computer, open Google Maps.
- At the top left, click Saved .
Tip: To show saved places while you search, turn on Web & App Activity.
- On your computer, open Google Maps.
- In the top left, click Saved .
- In the list that includes the place that you want to remove, click More Edit list.
- Next to the place that you want to remove, click Remove .
