Duo and Meet have combined into a new Meet app. Meet (original) users can download the new app.

Take photos of 1:1 and group video calls

You can take photos of your 1:1 and group video calls with moments.

Step 1: Turn on moments

Important: If you have moments turned on, other people can take and share photos of their video chats with you.

  1. On your Android device, open Google Meet .
  2. Tap More  and then Settings and then Calling settings and then In-call settings.
  3. Turn on moments.

Tip: If you don't find the 'Calling settings' option:

  1. In Settings, tap Back .
  2. In the top right, tap your Account icon.
  3. Switch to the account where you turned on calling. Learn how to get started with calling in Google Meet.

Step 2: Take a photo

Important: When you take a photo, everyone on the call is notified and the photo automatically saves to each person's camera roll.

  1. Start or receive a 1:1 or group video call in the Meet app .
  2. At the bottom left, tap Take a photo Take a photo.
