Important:
- This feature is only available for meetings on mobile devices.
With On-the-Go mode, you can take meetings while you walk, are in a car, or use public transportation. This feature has an audio-only experience with large, easy-to-press call control buttons for fewer distractions.
The experience:
- Turns off your camera and doesn't allow you to send or receive video.
- Uses less data.
- Features large buttons for Mute , Raise hand , Audio where you can choose the audio source or turn off sound and end call .
- Provides an optional Show presentation button that you can turn on or off.
- Tap Expand or Exit full screen to go back.
- Allows you to join breakout rooms and stay in them when you switch to On-the-Go mode.
Join a meeting with On-the-Go while in motion
Meet detects motion and suggests that you switch to On-the-Go mode. On the pop up, tap Go.
Turn off enter On-the-Go mode suggestions1. In the mobile app, while not in a meeting, tap Menu Settings Meeting settings.
2. Turn off Automatically use On-the-Go .
For Business and Edu users:
1. In the mobile app, while not in a meeting, tap Menu Settings General.
2. Turn off Automatically use On-the-Go .

Manually enter On-the-Go
In a meeting, at the bottom of the screen, tap More controls On-the-Go .
Turn off On-the-Go
On the banner at the top, tap Turn off On-the-Go .
Tip: When you exit On-the-Go, your camera defaults to off. To turn on your camera, tap Camera .
