What’s changing
To make it easier for you to see the current status, issue history, and health of our Merchant Center, you’re now able to check in with the Merchant Center status dashboard.
You can check the dashboard on merchants.google.com/status to see the status of the Content API for Shopping, Merchant Center and feeds. To learn more about how the dashboard works, check out this article.
How it works
If a major incident is identified, you’ll be able to find an outage notice on the dashboard, and you can expect updates as the issue is resolved. If the dot’s green, it means there are no issues. All incidents are first verified by our support engineers, so there may be a slight delay from the time they actually occurred.
Subscribe to the status dashboard RSS or JSON feeds
To get the fastest outage alerts, we recommend subscribing to the status dashboard RSS feed. To do this:
- Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
- Visit the status dashboard.
- At the bottom of the page, click RSS feed to copy the feed URL.
- In your RSS reader, paste the URL to add the status dashboard feed.
- (Optional) If you’d like programmatic access to the status dashboard (for example, to integrate it into your monitoring system) at the bottom of the page, click JSON history.
