Reasons why the issue is happening

Your account has been disapproved or pending disapproval because we've detected that your website does not have a clear return and refund policy.

How to fix the issue

Show a clear return and refund policy on your website. If you don't accept returns or refunds, clearly state that on your website.

Step 1

Step 1 Confirm a return and refund policy is easily accessible by customers on your website. For example, you can place a dedicated button in the footer of every page that links to your return and refund policy.

Step 2

Step 2 Make sure that your return and refund policy clearly states how you handle these actions, including all requirements and any timelines (for example, reason or return window).

Step 3

Step 3 Make sure the return and refund policy is consistent throughout your website (for example, in the footer, returns page, and web banner).

Note: The return and refund policy is in place to ensure customers have a satisfactory shopping experience. Customers should be able to understand the return and refund policy of your store when they land on your website. This is separate from setting up your return and refund policy in Merchant Center.

Next steps

After making the requested changes, we will review your website for compliance.

Keep in mind: It may take some time for your change to be reflected.
