The holidays are fast approaching. As customers start shopping earlier and the season for deals becomes longer, now is the time to make sure you are ready for the holiday shopping season.
We expect higher volumes at this time of year and we want customers to have a safe and positive online shopping experience. For this reason, there may be delays in the review process for new accounts and feeds. Here are some ways to get your Merchant Center account ready so you can avoid potential delays and be prepared for holiday shopping.
Get ready for the holidays
- Check that your product feeds are up-to-date. Be sure to provide the product data at least 3-5 business days in advance.
- Optimize the content in your product feed. Learn more
- Address account warnings as early as possible. We recommend that you check the Diagnostics tab in your Merchant Center account weekly.
- Review your shopping campaign settings, and make sure your campaigns are set to “active.”
- Review your returns settings. You may want to set up a seasonal override on your return policy to accommodate for the high volume of orders and returns during the holiday period. Learn more
