How to fix: Missing product availability

Add the availability for your product in your inventory data

Reason why the issue is happening

One or more of your products are missing the availability status in the local inventory data. This error usually happens because the availability [availability] attribute is not set.

How to fix the issue

To resolve this issue, you must provide a valid value for the availability [availability] attribute for your products. This will tell your customers about the availability of your products in each of your stores.

Step 1 Go to Products in the Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.

Step 2 Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.

Step 3 Select the Download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.

Step 4Filter the download report so that you can only view products with: “Issue title” = Missing product availability

  1. Add the availability to your inventory data.

Step 5 Reupload your corrected inventory data to the Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.

Note: It may take some time for your change to be reflected on the Diagnostics page.
