You can design, brand and customise your publication for Google News on news.google.com, Android and iOS.
To get started, log in to Publisher Centre, select your publication and click on Google News.
Select a category
When you set up your publication, make sure that you classify it appropriately so that readers can find it under the correct category in Google News.
List of categories
The list of categories available in the Publisher Centre may not be exactly the same as the list of categories visible to users in Google News, as the catalogue is adjusted to optimise the browsing experience for readers. Sometimes similar categories may be combined.
Here’s a list of the categories available to publishers in the Publisher Centre, and how they correlate with the categories that are available to users:

Distribution
Important: Any changes to your international distribution settings are effective immediately.
By default, links to content from your publication are available to readers worldwide. If you'd prefer to limit this, you can either allow or block specific countries from seeing links to content from your publication.
You can also find your content on either all search results or only within specific Google products, such as Chromecast, Google Play and Google Assistant.
Change your distribution settings
- Open Publisher Centre.
- Select your publication.
- Click Google News Edit.
- In the 'Distribution' section, under 'Countries', click the down arrow .
- Select the countries that you want to allow or block.
