Creating a note
There are several ways to create new notes in NotebookLM:
- Save a model response to notes - If you receive a response that you like, click the Save to note button below each response to save the response to Notes. Saved response notes are not editable once created.
- Write a new note - In the Notes section within the Studio panel on the right, click Add note. You can write or paste text into this note.
You can create up to 1000 notes per Notebook.
Convert notes to sources
- Convert a single note to a source
- Open the note
- Click on the Convert to source button on the bottom left
- Convert all notes to sources
- Click on the three dots in the Notes section within the Studio panel on the right
- Click on Convert all notes to source
