Google partners with the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP), an intermediary organization that specializes in distributing your donations to nonprofits that work in the affected region, to ensure funds reach those who need it the most.
The Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP), is a U.S. 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit, which receives and distributes the money to local relief efforts. CDP will appear on your credit card and email receipts. Outside of the U.S., your contribution may not be tax deductible.

Your entire contribution will go to the nonprofits, but if you reside outside the U.S., your bank or credit card issuer may charge you currency conversion / foreign currency transaction fees and taxes depending on the currency you donate in and your location -- please consult with your bank or credit card issuer for more information. You are also responsible for complying with any local foreign currency remittance and tax reporting obligations that may be applicable to you.

Your donation history from Google's donation initiatives (One Today, Donation Cards on YouTube and Google Crisis Response campaigns) is stored in a common donation account, associated with your Google account. If you made your donation using Guest Checkout, no donation history will be stored in your donation account. Likewise, if you have a Google Payments account, your donation will not appear in your Google Payments transaction history.
You can delete your donation account at https://onetoday.google.com/home/deleteAccount. If you chose to delete this account, any actions you took on the One Today platform will be anonymized. Donations made with Donation Cards and for Google crisis response campaigns are already anonymous. Deleting your donation account will not affect your Google account or your Google Payments account.
Yes, you can use your credit card to make a donation using Google’s Guest Checkout.
If you choose to make your donation using Guest Checkout, you do not need to have a Google account or be logged into your Google account (if you have one). The confirmation email from Google, which serves as your donation receipt, will be sent to the email address you provide when you make a donation using Guest Checkout.
If you are a resident of the U.S., donations to 501(c)(3) organizations are generally tax deductible, but please check with a tax professional to be sure. You will receive a confirmation email from Google, which serves as your donation receipt and confirms that no goods or services were received.
If you are a resident of Canada, your donation may not be tax deductible. You should check your local tax regulations and review with a local tax professional to be sure.
