What’s a recurring payment reminder?
Recurring payments reminder is a feature that helps you to set up, track, and pay your recurring payments to peers in Google Pay. You can set reminders for upcoming payments, like:
- Rent
- Maintenance
- Newspaper bills
To set a recurring reminder, in the "Regular payments" section, select a payment category. Then set reminders for the payment.
How to set up recurring payments reminders?
- Open Google Pay .
- At the bottom, select Regular payments.
- Under “Payment categories,” select the payment’s category.
- To choose the category that fits your requirement, tap View all.
- Enter the following details for the recurring payments.
- From the contact list, select the payee.
- Select a start date.
- Select the frequency of payment.
- Set the amount.
- For easy reference, enter the name of this payment.
- To view the payment reminder in your checklist, tap Set reminder.
How to track recurring payments reminders?
In the “Regular payments” section, you can track all recurring payments from the checklist.
- Open Google Pay .
- At the bottom, select Regular payments.
- Under “Your checklist,” you can find a list of all your recurring payments.
How to cancel recurring payment reminders?
- Open Google Pay .
- At the bottom, select Regular payments.
- Under “Your checklist” section, touch and hold a reminder.
- Tap Delete.
FAQs
How to automatically make the payment at a set schedule?
Currently, you can only set reminders for the frequent peer payments. There’s no autopay settings. If you set a reminder, this won’t automatically make the payment at a set frequency. You’ll have to make the payment manually.
