What’s DigiSaathi?

DigiSaathi, a 24x7 helpline, is a joint initiative between NPCI and Payment System Operators and Participants. Launched on March 8, 2022, it provides 24/7 assistance to users with digital payment product and services queries.

What are the supported channels for DigiSaathi?

Automated responses on information related to digital payment products and services are available in Hindi and English languages through these options: 

  • Toll-free number (1800-891-3333)
  • A short code (14431) 
  • Website: digisaathi.info

DigiSaathi assists users with their digital payment queries through the website and chatbot. Users can also make toll-free calls to ask for product information and other payment options. More interactive features and language choices will be made available.

Does it support other social media channels & languages? 

The work is in progress to make DigiSaathi available on other social media channels. More languages will be added to existing channels.

How can I use DigiSaathi on my feature phone?

You can use the UPI123Pay feature which allows feature phone users to conduct various digital transactions through these technology options: 

  • App-based functionality: You can install the app on your feature phone and access several UPI functions that are available on other smartphones.
  • Missed call: Feature phone users can access their bank account and perform routine transactions (like receive, transfer funds, make bill payments, and more) by giving a missed call on the number displayed at the merchant outlet. The user will then receive an incoming call to authenticate the transaction by entering a UPI PIN. 
  • Interactive Voice Response (IVR): Users can make UPI payments through pre-defined IVR numbers by initiating a secured call to a predetermined number and completing UPI onboarding formalities. It allows users to make financial transactions without an internet connection.
  • Proximity Sound-based payments: This option uses sound waves for contactless, offline, and proximity data communication on any device.

Find Bank or Institution contact details 

  1. On your browser, open DigiSaathi.
  2. Click Find Bank or institution contact details.
  3. In the search box, enter the bank name.
  4. You’ll see the bank contact details on the screen.
