You can receive money on Google Pay through your:
- UPI ID
- UPI number linked to your UPI ID
- QR code
- Bank account details
Receive money on Google Pay
Through your UPI ID or UPI number- On your mobile device, open Google Pay .
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture.
- Under “Set up payment methods,” select the bank account you want to receive money in.
- To find your details, tap Manage UPI IDs.
- Share your UPI ID with the sender.
You can receive money through your personal QR code on Google Pay.
- On your mobile device, open Google Pay .
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture.
- Tap your Profile picture icon again to find your personal QR code.
- Show the QR code to your sender. You can ask the sender to scan the QR code through any UPI app to send you money.
In Google Pay, ask the person to search for your name, phone number, account number, or UPI ID. When the other person sends you money, you’ll receive a notification.
You can receive money from friends or family in the US.
To be eligible to receive money from Google Pay users in the US, you need:
- Google Pay on your device
- An Indian phone number
Information your sender in the US requires
- Your full name
- Your IFSC code
- Your account number from your preferred bank
Transaction details
To find your transaction details:
- On your mobile device, open Google Pay .
- Under “See transaction history,” select the transaction you want more information about.
Tip: If you need confirmation of the transfer, ask the sender for a screenshot or downloadable receipt from the Google Pay app's transaction details.
Request money
- On your mobile device, open Google Pay .
- To find the contact you want to request money from, use the search bar.
- At the bottom, tap Request.
- Enter the amount and description.
- Tap Request.
When the other person pays or declines your request, you’ll receive a notification from Google Pay.
