Thank you for contacting us. Google Pay is a medium to make transactions through partner banks using the UPI infrastructure. Google Pay isn’t part of the payment process or settlement flow. Also, it doesn’t serve as a wallet.
If you want to issue instructions to stop payment or want to report any fraudulent transactions in your account, we suggest the following:
For immediate support and guidance, contact your bank. Banks have 24 x 7 support, and you can report a fraudulent transaction even during non-working hours.
To send money, you can enter your UPI PIN on Google Pay, but it isn’t required when you receive money. Fraudsters may initiate a request to make you believe that you'll receive money when you enter your PIN. Be careful and ignore or reject such requests. Learn more about how to
protect against fraud.
