For some Google products, you can set up a backup payment method that'll be used if the primary method fails for any reason (such as an expired credit card or insufficient funds). Backup payment methods can be especially useful for ongoing subscriptions to help avoid interruptions in service.

- When certain payment methods are set as the primary payment method, you can't set a backup payment method.
- Bank accounts can't be used as an automatic payment method.
- Digital banks aren't supported to get payouts.
