About PayPal

PayPal is an online payment service that lets individuals and businesses electronically transfer money. You can send, receive, and hold funds in different currencies worldwide.

How PayPal works

You can use your PayPal balance as a digital wallet for online payments. You can electronically add money to your PayPal balance through:

  • Bank accounts
  • Prepaid cards
  • Cash at retail stores (US only)

Pay with PayPal

Important: To pay for Google products with PayPal, you must set up a PayPal account.

After your PayPal account is set up and linked to one of the above payment methods, you can use it to pay for Google services like Google Play and YouTube in real time.
