Manage invoices, credit memos, and debit memos

You can manage your invoices across all Google products and accounts within the "Billing documents" section of the "Statement of account" page in your Google payments center. The "Statement of account" page provides you with a real-time view of your complete financial standing with Google. Learn more about the Statement of account page.

  • Find all of your invoices, credit, and debit memos.
  • Download invoices individually or in bulk.
  • Filter and sort your invoices by attribute. For example:
    • Status
    • Due date
    • Outstanding amount
    • Purchase Order
    • Account ID
  • Search for specific invoices.
  • Create saved views to quickly return to them in the future.

Instructions

Find your invoices

  1. Sign in to the Google payments center.
  2. At the top, click Statement of account.
    • If you have multiple payment profiles, in the upper right-hand corner, select a specific payments profile to view.
    • If you’re a holding company, on the top left, select the statement you’d like to view documents for in your statement picker.
  3. Choose an option:
    • To find all of your open and closed invoices, credit memos, and debit memos: On the top right, above the "Invoices in dispute" card, click View all invoices and memos.
    • To find all of your open invoices: To the right of the "Total Amount Due field," click View open invoices.
    • To find all invoices with a particular status: Next to the pie chart, click View for the "Invoice Status" you want.
      • For example, to find invoices that currently put you at risk of suspension, next to "At Risk," click View.

Any blue text on the page is clickable and takes you to the "Billing documents" table for that particular data point. For example, if you want to find all of your credit documents, in the "Unapplied credits" card at the top, click View.

Filter your invoices

  1. Sign in to the Google payments center.
  2. At the top, click Statement of account.
    • If you have multiple payment profiles, in the upper right-hand corner, select a specific payments profile to view.
    • If you’re a holding company, on the top left, select the statement you’d like to view documents for in your statement picker.
  3. To open the "Billing documents" table, on the top right, click View all invoices and memos.
  4. In the filter panel on the right, select a filter to apply.
  5. Enter any necessary information, like an invoice number for the "Document number" filter.
    • To enter a list of invoice numbers, separate them with a comma ( , ).
  6. Click Apply.
  7. At the bottom of the panel, click Save filters.
    • To add more filters, at the bottom select Manage filters and then type of filter, like Document type, and click Save filters at the bottom of the panel.
    • To hide the filter panel, click Hide filter.

Understand the status of your invoice

Status

In the "Status" column, you can view the primary status of your invoice and whether your invoice is overdue or not. If your invoice is "At risk," then you put your account at risk of suspension due to non-payment of the invoice. See the Outstanding balance column for the amount of the invoice remaining to be paid.

Dispute status

Shows whether you have an open or closed dispute on the invoice. Learn more about disputes.

Remittance status

The "Remittance status" column shows whether there are specific remittance conversations associated with this invoice. Some documents won't have a remittance status. The following list is the list of remittance statuses you may see and what each means:

  • Waiting for client payment: Indicator that a condition specific to agency customers is preventing collection
  • Open question exists: A customer question or issue (other than a dispute) is being addressed
  • Tax withheld: The invoice is unmatched due to a tax withholding
  • Payment being applied: Payment is received but hasn’t applied
  • Proof of payment received: Proof of payment has been demonstrated but payment isn’t in the system
  • Committed to pay: Payment has been promised by some period or date
  • On payment plan: The customer is on a payment plan for this invoice
  • Sent to Serasa: In Brazil, delinquent invoices are entered in and passed on to the "Serasa" debtor's website

Find invoice details

  1. Sign in to the Google payments center.
  2. At the top, click Statement of account.
    • If you have multiple payment profiles, in the upper right-hand corner, select a specific payments profile to view.
    • If you’re a holding company, on the top left, select the statement you’d like to view documents for in your statement picker.
  3. To open the "Billing documents" table, on the top right, click View all invoices and memos.
  4. Click the row for that invoice or memo. A pop-up opens with the following information:
    • Invoice number
    • Invoice amount
    • Status
    • Purchase order number
    • Account details

    Tip: You can find who the invoice was delivered to in the "Document activity" section. You can also find related documents in the "Associated documents" section.

To close the pop-up, in the top left, click the X.

To download your invoice, in the top right of the invoice pop-up, click Download.

  • You can alternatively download a copy of the invoice directly from the documents table.

Sort your invoices in ascending or descending order

  1. Sign in to the Google payments center.
  2. At the top, click Statement of account.
    • If you have multiple payment profiles, in the upper right-hand corner, select a specific payments profile to view.
    • If you’re a holding company, on the top left, select the statement you’d like to view documents for in your statement picker.
  3. To open the "Billing documents" table, on the top right, click View all invoices and memos.
  4. Select the column header that you’d like to sort by.
  5. To change between ascending and descending order, select the column header again.

Download individual or multiple invoices

  1. Sign in to the Google payments center.
  2. At the top, click Statement of account.
    • If you have multiple payment profiles, in the upper right-hand corner, select a specific payments profile to view.
    • If you’re a holding company, on the top left, select the statement you’d like to view documents for in your statement picker.
  3. To open the "Billing documents" table, on the top right, click View all invoices and memos.
  4. Check the box to the left of the invoices that you’d like to download.
    • To select all invoices that open in your table, at the top left of the table, check the box.
    • If you have multiple pages of invoices, you can choose whether to select just the visible invoices or invoices across all pages.
  5. On the top right of the documents table, click Download documents Download documents.
    • Depending on your user permission level, you may find an Action button on the top right of the documents table. You can select the Action button to download documents.
  6. Choose the file format you prefer.
  7. Click Download.

Search for an invoice or group of invoices

  1. Sign in to the Google payments center.
  2. At the top, click Statement of account.
    • If you have multiple payment profiles, in the upper right-hand corner, select a specific payments profile to view.
    • If you’re a holding company, on the top left, select the statement you’d like to view documents for in your statement picker.
  3. To open the "Billing documents" table, on the top right, click View all invoices and memos.
  4. Click the "Search documents" box at the top right of the table.
  5. Enter text that might help you find the invoice. As long as the text appears on your invoice, it’s searchable.
    • To find documents with two specific words, use "AND" (in uppercase letters). For example, searching for "video AND game" searches for invoices that contain both "video" and "game."
    • To find documents with one of two words, use "OR" (in uppercase letters). For example, searching for "Nov OR Dec" searches for invoices that contain either "Nov" or "Dec."

Show or hide columns

  1. Sign in to the Google payments center.
  2. At the top, click Statement of account.
    • If you have multiple payment profiles, in the upper right-hand corner, select a specific payments profile to view.
    • If you’re a holding company, on the top left, select the statement you’d like to view documents for in your statement picker.
  3. To open the "Billing documents" table, on the top right, click View all invoices and memos.
  4. At the top right, click Manage columns Manage columns.
  5. Select the columns you want to show or hide on the table.
    • You can also drag the column names within the box to arrange them in a different order.
  6. Click Apply.

Important: There are many columns in the "Billing documents" table you can take advantage of, but not every column is applicable to every Google product - some are specific to only certain products.

Here’s the full list of columns available, what they mean, and what products they support:

  • Account name (Ads, AdX, Analytics, Cloud, CM360)
    • Name of the product account.
  • Account ID (Google Ads, AdX, Analytics, Cloud, CM360, DFP, Fiber, Hotel Ads, Shopping, YouTube)
    • ID number of the product account.
  • Advertiser name & Advertiser ID (Google Ads, DV360, CM360)
    • Name and ID number of the Advertiser account.
  • Account budget (Ads, AdX)
    • Name of the account budget, also known as the budget order, or the flight details.
  • Campaign name & Campaign ID (DV360 & CM360)
    • Name and ID number of the GMP account campaign.
  • Purchase order (Ads, AdX, Analytics, Cloud, DV360, CM360, DFP, DS, Fiber, Hotel Ads, Shopping, Waze, XFP, YouTube)
    • Also known as the PO number, IO number, CPE code, client code, and so on.
  • Insertion order name & Insertion order ID (DV360)
    • Insertion order details.
  • Partner name & Partner ID (DV360)
    • Partner details.
  • Network name & Network ID (CM360)
    • Network details.
  • Bill to & Bill to ID (all products)
    • The Bill to company on the Google invoice.
    • These columns are only available if you’re a holding company.
  • Additional party (all products)
    • The extra company on the Google invoice.
    • Identifies the Advertiser or Payer, depending on the type of relationship.

Save a view

To quickly return to a specific set of filters, you can save that set of filters as a "view."

A saved view preserves your currently selected filters, columns, and sorting. For example, you could save a view to quickly find all invoices in descending order of open amount, for a particular product or client.

You’ll find the option to save your view after setting any filters on the page or sorting the page.

To save a view:

  1. Sign in to the Google payments center.

  2. At the top, click Statement of account.
    • If you have multiple payment profiles, in the upper right-hand corner, select a specific payments profile to view.
    • If you’re a holding company, on the top left, select the statement you’d like to view documents for in your statement picker.
  3. To open the "Billing documents" table, on the top right, click View all invoices and memos.
  4. In the top left, click Save view.
  5. Name your saved view.
  6. Click Save view.

At the top left of the table, you can open your saved views with the down arrow.

Find other groups of documents

  1. Sign in to the Google payments center.
  2. At the top, click Tax & legal documents to find:
    • Your tax documents
    • Your statutory documents (if applicable to your country/region)
    • Your service agreements
    • Your month-end statement (doesn't apply to Big 6 agencies)
