Set up routines when you use Google Assistant to automate your day with voice commands.

Say, "Hey Google! Open Assistant settings."

Scroll down and tap Routines.

You can create a routine or customize a pre-existing routine. Under “Your routines,” tap a routine.
For example, to set up a routine to help you start your day, tap Good morning.

Under “Starters,” you can edit what commands will activate the routine.
To add an action to the routine, tap Add action.
Tips:
- To reorder an action, touch and hold Drag Handle and drag the action to your preferred location.
- To delete an action, tap the action. Then, at the bottom, tap Remove action.

Choose what you want your Assistant to do when you say the command. For example, to get a weather update, tap Get info and reminders.

Choose an option and tap Done.

When you’re finished, tap Save.
Tip: You can add routines to your home screen to start one with a tap. To create a “Routines” widget, at the top of the screen, tap Add to Home Screen .

When you say, “Hey Google! Good morning,” your Pixel phone will complete all the actions that are part of that routine.
