Connect a Bluetooth device

You can connect multiple Bluetooth devices, like headphones and speakers, to your Pixel phone.

To connect a Bluetooth device, like headphones, to your Pixel, open the Settings app . Then, tap Connected devices.

Tip: You can also access Bluetooth from your Quick Settings. To open Quick Settings, swipe down. Then, touch and hold the Bluetooth icon.

Tap Pair new device.

Tip: You can connect to a Bluetooth device you’ve connected to a phone, tablet, or other device with your Google Account in the past. Tap one of the devices listed under “Previously used with account.”

Under “Available devices,” tap the Bluetooth device you want to connect to.

To complete the pairing, follow the prompts on the screen.

When your device is paired with your Pixel phone, it’s listed as a connected device.

Tip: When you connect some devices to your Pixel, you may be asked to allow certain permissions. For example, when you pair headphones with a mic, you may be asked if you want to give access to:

  • Your contacts and call history to make calls
  • Google Assistant so you can talk to it

To adjust your device connection settings, tap Settings .

If you want to disconnect the device for the moment, tap Disconnect.

If you don’t want your Pixel to automatically connect to this device in the future, tap Forget and then Forget device.
