Use a Quick Switch adaptor

You can transfer data from an iOS or Android device to your Pixel phone.

To transfer from an Android phone or newer iOS device, you can use a USB Type C-to-C cable that you already own, or the cable that comes in the box with your phone. You won't need a Quick Switch adaptor.

Tip: There's also an option for a wireless transfer.

When to use a Quick Switch adaptor

If you have an iPhone X or older device, you can use a Quick Switch adaptor. To transfer data to a Pixel phone, either use:

  • Lightning to USB-C cable
  • Convert a lightning to USB-A to USB-C cable with a Quick Switch adaptor

Tip: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold don't come with a Quick Switch adaptor. If you need one, you can add it during checkout or contact Google Support.
