You can set up Chrome to get notifications, like meeting reminders, from websites, apps, and extensions. To see your notifications, click the time at the bottom right.
How notifications work
By default, Chrome alerts you whenever a website, app, or extension wants to send you notifications. You can change this setting at any time.
If you're browsing in Incognito mode, you won't get notifications.
Stop future notifications from a website, app, or extension
- Go to the notification for the website, app, or extension you want to stop.
- Select Settings
or long-press on the notification.
- Select the box for "Block all notifications."

At the bottom right, select the time to open your status area and view notifications.
- To delete a notification, go to its upper right corner and select Remove
or use your finger to swipe the notification to the side.
- To delete all notifications, scroll to the bottom of notifications and select Clear all.
Turn on "Do not disturb"
When you need to focus, use "Do not disturb" to temporarily stop your notifications from appearing in your status area. When you turn "Do not disturb" off, the notifications you missed will appear.
- At the bottom right, select the time to open your status area.
- Select Notifications

Allow or block notifications from all sites
- On your device, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More
Settings.
- At the bottom, select Advanced.
- Under "Privacy and security," select Content settings.
- Select Notifications.
- Choose to block or allow notifications:
- Block all: Turn off Ask before sending.
- Block a site: Next to "Block," select Add. Enter the site and select Add.
- Allow a site: Next to "Allow," select Add. Enter the site and select Add.
