Read a story in Read Along

Download a new story to read offline

• When you download the app, a set of 10 stories you can read offline are included.
• To read other stories offline, you must first connect to the internet and download a story.

1. Open the Read Along app .
2. On the Library page, tap the story you want to download.
   • Tip: Stories that aren’t downloaded display a green download icon at the upper right-hand corner.
3. When your download completes, the story is available in your library to read offline.

Read a story

1. Open the Read Along app .
2. On the Library page, tap the story you want to read.
3. Read the story out loud to Diya.
4. Use Diya to help you read the story. To have Diya:
   • Read a line in the story: Tap Diya’s picture.
   • Read a word to you: Tap the word.
   • Sound out a word for you: Tap the word again.

• If you select 2 languages in Language settings: After you read a line in English, Diya translates that line into the other language you selected.
• When you read a story, you earn stars and badges.
