Manage asset folders

Create custom folders

To create a custom folder anywhere in the Asset Library hierarchy:

  1. Click New folder.
  2. In the Create folder window that displays, enter a name for the folder and click Create.

Rename folders you've created

You can only rename custom folders that you or someone on your team created. You can't rename advertiser, campaign, or creative folders.

To rename a folder:

  1. In the left-hand panel, hover over the folder you want to rename.
  2. Click the down-arrow and select Rename.
  3. In the Rename folder window that displays, enter a new name for the folder and click Done.

View details about a folder or file

For folders that were automatically created in Studio, you can view such details as the ID of the advertiser, campaign, or creative, when the folder was last modified, and when it was created.

For custom folders that you or another Studio user created, you can view when the folder was last modified and when it was created.

To view folder details, click a folder. A details pane will open on the right.

Studio folders: To open an advertiser, campaign, or creative in the Creatives tab, click while viewing the folder details. You will automatically be re-directed to the Studio Creative workflow. To navigate back to the Asset Library, click on the Assets tab again.

For files, you can view such details as the dimensions, file size, duration of a video, or frame rate. To view the details of a file, click the asset. A details pane will open on the right.

Remove folders

You can only remove custom folders from the Asset Library. To delete a custom folder, it must not contain any assets or subfolders. You can't delete advertiser, campaign, or creative folders that were directly created in the Studio workflow.

To delete custom folders from the Asset Library:

  1. On the Assets tab, navigate to the folder you want to delete.
  2. Click the down arrow on the right of the folder.
  3. Click Remove.

You will receive an error message if the folder contains other folders or assets.

Star folders to find them quicker

Use stars on the Asset tab's middle pane to easily mark certain folders as important or to indicate that you need to work with them later.

To see all your starred folders, click Starred on the left side of the Assets screen, under the Studio logo.
