Microsoft Advertising Shopping campaign settings

We’ve updated the "Country of sale" section in the user interface. Now, you can view feed values along with "Country of sale".

Adjust your campaign settings to help you tailor your shopping campaign. The campaign settings you select will apply to all ads within the same campaign.

Shopping campaign settings

Setting Description References
Campaign name Enter a descriptive name for your shopping campaign. Your campaign name isn't visible to your customers.  
Campaign status Enable, pause, or remove a campaign. Pause, resume, or remove a campaign
Merchant Connect to a Microsoft Merchant Center store. Set up and add your Microsoft Merchant Center store to Search Ads 360
Country of sale Specify the country where your products are sold.  
Additional settings
Local products Use this setting to enable or disable ads for products sold in local stores.  
Inventory filter Choose to display all products, or only products that match certain critera.  
Campaign URL options After you've created your campaign, use this setting to specify a campaign tracking template or a final URL suffix to use for tracking purposes.

Feed label replaced the "Country of sale" settings in Google Merchant Center feeds.

  • Shopping campaigns created in Search Ads 360: Use a feed label that specifies the target country for any new campaigns you create. Feed label helps Search Ads 360 to target your ads to the target country.
  • Shopping campaigns created in Google Ads and synced to Search Ads 360: Product-level reporting isn't available for Google Merchant Center feeds with a blank feed label or a feed label containing anything other than a two-letter country code. Bidding

Edit your bid strategy. Your bid strategy is how you optimize bids to meet your advertising goals.

  • Automated bid strategies set bids for you based on your business goals.
  • Manual bidding requires you to set your own maximum cost-per-click bids for ad groups or keywords.

Budget

Enter the amount you're willing to spend on a campaign each day. Note that Search Ads 360 itself does not use this setting to control your spend. Instead, the setting is posted to Microsoft Advertising, and Microsoft Advertising uses the setting to control spend.

 
Campaign priority If you have multiple campaigns with one product, use campaign priority to decide which campaign's bid will be used. If campaigns have the same priority, the campaign with the higher bid will serve.  

 Targeting & scheduling settings

Setting Description References
Devices Ads will show on all eligible devices by default. You cannot change this setting.  
Locations

By default, ads in Microsoft Advertising campaigns are eligible to display in the United States, Canada, and other countries, but you can choose specific locations for the ads to appear. 

Microsoft Advertising location targets that you create in Search Ads 360 apply to the following groups:

  • People in, or who show interest in, your targeted locations
  • People in or regularly in your targeted locations
  • People searching for your targeted locations.

To change these options for a location target, sign into Microsoft Advertising. Learn more in the Microsoft Advertising Help center .

Start and end dates Set the start and end dates for your campaign. If you don't set an end date, your ads will continue to run.
