Pause a budget bid strategy

When you disable a budget bid strategy, it stops managing the budgets, bids, and bid adjustments only for the remainder of that plan. The budget strategy will manage spend in subsequent, existing plans unless you disable the strategy in each of the plans. You can disable recurrence to stop future plans from being generated.

To pause a budget bid strategy, do the following:

1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
2. Navigate to a manager account. ( The one where you want to pause a budget bid strategy).
3. In the page menu on the left, click Bidding & Planning.
4. In the sub-menu, click All plans or Active plans.
5. In the table, select the checkbox of the plan that you want to edit.
6. In the bar above the table, click Edit, then select Edit Plans from the dropdown.
7. In the “Your Plan” window on the "Adjust forecast" page, toggle Budget bid strategy to off.
8. Click Continue.
9. On the “Update plan” page, click Update plan.
10. Review the "Summary" on the “Confirmation” page and click Continue to plan.
