GA sessions column

Universal Analytics properties will stop processing data on July 1, 2023 (July 1, 2024 for Analytics 360 properties). If you haven't already, start using a Google Analytics 4 property

Displays the number of Google Analytics sessions that resulted from clicks on search or social objects. A session is a group of interactions that take place on your website within a given time frame.

For example on the Keywords tab, this column shows the number of sessions attributed to each keyword within the report's time range. The summary row at the bottom of the table shows the total number of sessions for all keywords in the report.

This column is automatically migrated into the new Search Ads 360.

Add this column to your report

Select one of the following options to add this column to a report: 

  • Specify the GA_sessions variable in the custom formula column.

You will see the added metrics column in the report table. You may need to scroll horizontally to display the added column.
