Manage auto-apply recommendations

Turn on auto-apply recommendations

From a client account

  1. Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
  2. Navigate to a client account.
  3. In the page menu on the left, click Recommendations.
  4. At the top right corner, click Auto-apply.
  5. On the Manage tab, do one of the following:
    1. To auto-apply all recommendations in a category, click Select all in the "Maintain your ads" or "Grow your business" areas.
    2. To select specific recommendations to autoapply, expand the "Maintain your ads" or "Grow your business" lists, and select the recommendations you want.
  6. Click Save.

From a manager account

To auto-apply recommendations across all accounts:

  1.  Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
  2. Navigate to a manager or sub-manager account.
  3. In the page menu on the left, click Recommendations.
  4. At the top right corner, click Auto-apply.
  5. Select the accounts to which you want to auto-apply recommendations.
  6. In the blue bar, click Edit and then click Manage auto-apply recommendations.
  7. In the "Manage auto-apply recommendations" area, expand the BiddingKeywords & targetingAds & extensions, and Measurement lists and select the recommendations you want to apply. 
  8. Click Apply.

After you’ve turned on auto-apply,  you can track which recommendations are turned on.

From a client account

  1. On the "Recommendations" page, click Auto-apply.
  2. Click the History tab.

From a manager or sub-manager account

  1. In the page menu on the left, click Recommendations.
  2. At the top right corner, click Auto-apply.
  3. Select the accounts you want.
  4. Select the accounts to which you want to auto-apply recommendations.
  5. In the blue bar, click Edit and then click Manage auto-apply recommendations
  6. To view individual recommendations, click the number in the "Active auto-applied recommendations" column.

Turn off automatically applied recommendations

From a client account

You can turn off automatically applied recommendations at any time from the Manage or History tab on the Auto-apply page.

The Manage tab:

  1. Uncheck the recommendation you want to turn off.
  2. Click Save.

The History tab:

  1. Click the green dot next to the recommendation you want to turn off.
  2. Click Disable.
  3. You’ll see a red dot next to all automatically applied recommendations that have been turned off.

From a manager or sub-manager account

  1. In the page menu on the left, click Recommendations.
  2. At the top right corner, click Auto-apply.
  3. Select the accounts to which you want to auto-apply recommendations.
  4. In the blue bar, click Edit and then click Manage auto-apply recommendations.
  5. In the accounts list, select the account you want to manage. The area above the table displays the auto-applied recommendations for the selected account. 
  6. Do one of the following:
    1. To turn off all auto-applied recommendations, click Clear all.
    2. To turn off an individual auto-applied recommendation, click the x button next to the recommendation name.
  7. Click Apply.
