There's always a one-to-one relationship between a sub-manager account in the new Search Ads 360 and a Campaign Manager 360 advertiser. This enables the new Search Ads 360 to use the respective Campaign Manager 360 advertiser's Floodlight tag configuration, which allows Google to report on conversions.
Once you link a sub-manager account in the new Search Ads 360 to a Campaign Manager 360 advertiser, you can't remove the link. For more information, see the example below.
Share Floodlight tag configuration among multiple sub-manager accounts in the new Search Ads 360
If you want multiple sub-manager accounts in the new Search Ads 360 to have the same Floodlight tag configuration, they still need unique Campaign Manager 360 advertisers. However, they can share Floodlight tag configuration and activities.
- You have an existing sub-manager account (SA360 sub-manager 1) in the new Search Ads 360 that's mapped to a unique Campaign Manager 360 Advertiser (CM360 Advertiser 1).
- A sub-manager account in the new Search Ads 360 (SA360 sub-manager 2) was created, and you want it to have the same Floodlight tag configuration as CM360 Advertiser 2.
- A new Campaign Manager 360 advertiser (CM360 Advertiser 2) needs to be created and mapped to SA360 sub-manager 2. The new advertiser (CM360 Advertiser 2) should have the same Floodlight configuration as CM360 Advertiser 1.
