Set up a "Maximize Clicks" bid strategy in your account

  1. Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
  2. Navigate to a Google Ads client account.
  3. In the navigation menu, click the tools and settings  icon.
  4. Under "Shared library", click Bid strategies.
  5. On the "Portfolio bid strategy" page, click the plus button  to create a new portfolio bid strategy, then select Google Ads Maximize Clicks from the drop-down.
  6. Name your bid strategy, then select an owner and a currency.
    • You can't change the currency after a bid strategy is created.
  7. (Optional) Select campaigns to use with your selected currency.
  8. (Optional) Select the Set a maximum cost per click bid limit checkbox.
    • Note that a maximum CPC bid limit caps each cost-per-click bid, which could limit the clicks on your ad.
  9. Click Save.
