Set up a "Maximize Clicks" bid strategy in your account
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
- Navigate to a Google Ads client account.
- In the navigation menu, click the tools and settings icon.
- Under "Shared library", click Bid strategies.
- On the "Portfolio bid strategy" page, click the plus button to create a new portfolio bid strategy, then select Google Ads Maximize Clicks from the drop-down.
- Name your bid strategy, then select an owner and a currency.
- You can't change the currency after a bid strategy is created.
- (Optional) Select campaigns to use with your selected currency.
- (Optional) Select the Set a maximum cost per click bid limit checkbox.
- Note that a maximum CPC bid limit caps each cost-per-click bid, which could limit the clicks on your ad.
- Click Save.
