View Microsoft Advertising bid strategies in Search Ads 360

The following Microsoft Advertising bid strategies will now be listed on the “Portfolio bid strategies” page in Search Ads Ads 360 the next time the client account syncs with Search Ads 360.

  • Target CPA
  • Target ROAS
  • Maximize clicks
  • Maximize conversions
  • Target impression share

Microsoft Advertising bid strategies are read-only

Currently your Microsoft Advertising bid strategies are read-only in Search Ads 360. This means that you can view basic information about a Microsoft Advertising bid strategy such as the name of the bid strategy, bid strategy type, target, and currency. Performance metrics and campaigns that are managed by a Microsoft Advertising bid strategy aren’t available, but will be available soon.

Unsupported Microsoft Advertising bid strategy features

Even after your bid strategies are listed in Search Ads 360, you should continue to manage, report, and view performance metrics about your bid strategies in the Microsoft Advertising user interface, including the following tasks:

  • Create a Microsoft Advertising bid strategy
  • Add or remove campaigns
  • View the number of campaigns and performance metrics
  • Remove a bid strategy
  • Edit settings
Note: A Microsoft Advertising bid strategy isn’t shown in the campaign settings in Search Ads 360. Typically, the bid strategy that is applied to a campaign is viewable in the settings.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. On the left navigation panel, click the Bidding & planning drop-down.
  3. Select Bid Strategies. Your Microsoft Advertising bid strategies are listed for each client account.
  4. (Optional) Click the name of a bid strategy to view the bid strategy’s target metric in the performance history report.
Note: The following columns on the “Portfolio bid strategies” page displays “Unavailable” or dashes (--) for Microsoft Advertising bid strategies:
  • Status
  • Campaigns
  • Performance metrics
