Best practices for working with labels

Here are some best practices for creating, applying, and using labels.

Label similar campaigns

For example:

  • Label all brand campaigns with a "Brand" label, and all model campaigns with a "Model" label.
  • Apply the same labels to relevant campaigns in all of your serving accounts.

Create a dynamic report that you can view or download

After you've applied labels to items in Search Ads 360:

  1. In the left page menu, click Campaigns, Ad groups, Ads, or Keywords.
  2. Click the checkbox next to any Campaign that you want to create the label for. You can select multiple campaigns as well.
  3. From the top blue panel, click Label. You can choose from the labels created earlier and click Apply or you can click Create label.
  4. You can choose a color, enter a name and a description for the Label.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Click Filter to selected campaign, to filter the data for the campaigns  you applied/created the Label for and from the table toolbar click Saved View.
  7. Click New Saved View, enter a name for the saved view and then click Save.
  8. Click Saved Views, which appears on the table toolbar, to check all the custom saved views of the labels that have been applied.
  9. From the saved view, you can generate a Web Query or a scheduled report for continuous updates.
  10. You can also download the report by clicking the download icon . You can choose the format (for example, .csv, .pdf and so on) in which you want to download your report.
