Replace Microsoft Advertising campaign remarketing targets with ad group remarketing targets

 This article applies only to Microsoft Advertising accounts in the new Search Ads 360.
Before removing remarketing lists from a Microsoft Advertising campaign to apply remarketing lists to ad groups, verify that the account has been synced recently.
  1. Remove a remarketing list from a Microsoft Advertising campaign.
    1. Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
    2. Navigate to a Microsoft Advertising client account.
    3. Optional. Pause the campaign to stop serving ads while you set up your remarketing targets.
      1. From the left page menu, click Campaigns, select the campaign you want to remove the remarketing list from.
      2. Next to each campaign name, you'll see a colored dot indicating the status of your campaigns. To change a campaign's status, click ▼, then click Pause to place the campaign on hold.
    4. Select Audiences on the left page menu.
    5. Under the “Audiences segments” click on Show table.
    6. Select the check box to select all of the remarketing lists that are applied to any ad group in the campaign.
    7. Above the reporting table, click Edit ▼, and then click Remove.
  2. Apply a remarketing list to an ad group.
    1. Navigate to an ad group in the campaign.
    2. Select Audiences on the left page menu.
    3. Click Add audience segments and select the ad group.
    4. Under Browse, select “How they have interacted with your business” and select the remarketing list members you are looking to target.
    5. Click Save.
  3. Reactivate the campaign if you paused it earlier in these steps. Below the campaign name, click the arrow ▼ next to the paused icon , and then select Enable.
