Google AI can generate headlines, descriptions, and images for your Performance Max campaign ads. You can edit your product/service summary to match your advertising goal by clicking "Generate assets". Select the assets that work for your business and generate more of what you like.

How to use generative image tools in Search Ads 360
Generative AI allows you to create a Performance Max asset group in 2 ways:
- During creation of new campaign, an 'Asset generation' step will be available. Follow step 6-8 from instructions below.
- While creating an asset group in an existing campaign, locate the 'Asset generation' panel at the top of the screen.
Instructions
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
- Navigate to a Google Ads client account.
- Select the Performance Max campaign.
- From the page menu, click Asset groups.
- Click on plus icon and click New asset group.
- In the “Where will people go when they click your ad?” bar, enter the website URL.
- Edit the product/service summary to match your advertising goal and click Generate assets.
- Review the assets generated and click Save.

Content restrictions
Generative AI tools in Google Ads are designed to limit the creation of certain content, including faces, children, branded items, responses to matters of opinion or advice, and images that may violate Ads Policy or the Generative AI use policy.
Assets created by generative AI aren’t guaranteed to be approved by Ads Policy and advertisers should review any generated or suggested assets before publishing them to ensure that they’re accurate, not misleading, and not in violation of any Google advertising policies or applicable laws.
Eligibility
Generative AI in Performance Max is rolling out gradually to customers that meet the certain criteria, so these features may not be available to you yet.

Google's generative AI tools for Google Ads adhere to the same content guidelines, reviews, and enforcement as all other advertising content.
Google prioritizes privacy and security, and any information provided to Google for ad creation, including generative AI, is handled according to the Google Ads Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Generative AI, being experimental, might show inaccurate or offensive content that doesn't reflect Google's views.
