This article applies only to Google Ads accounts in the new Search Ads 360.

This article shows you how to edit or permanently remove negative keyword lists from Google Ads campaigns.

Keep in mind that if you want to remove a negative keyword list, you won’t be able to do so if it’s currently being used by any campaigns. You’ll want to remove the negative keyword list from any campaigns that are using it before removing the list permanently.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
  2. Navigate to a Google Ads client account.
  3. From the page menu, click on Keywords, and then click Negative search keywords.
  4. From here, you can:
    • Change the keyword text by clicking the box next to it and clicking Edit, then Change keyword text in the blue bar above the table.
    • Remove a list by checking the box next to it and clicking Edit, then Remove in the blue bar above the table.

Keep in mind

Any changes you make to your list will be reflected in all campaigns that use this negative keyword list.
