Search Ads 360 has ended support for tagless search-to-display and social-to-display remarketing, which added customers to a remarketing list if they clicked a designated search or social ad.
As part of Google's ongoing efforts to protect user privacy and commitment to comply with regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the US state privacy laws, and the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), Search Ads 360 ended support for tagless search-to-display and social-to-display remarketing for all customers in May 2021.
Impact on remarketing lists
You may notice the following changes with remarketing:
- Customers won’t be added to search-to-display and social-to-display remarketing lists in any geolocation.
- You won't be able to create new search-to-display and social-to-display remarketing lists.
Search Ads 360 will continue to display your existing search-to-display and social-to-display remarketing lists.
