Product groups that Search Ads 360 can subdivide

Search Ads 360 can automatically subdivide any product group by the product ID attribute, with a couple of exceptions:

  • The product group already points to a specific product ID, or one of its ancestors points to a specific product ID.
If a product group already contains products with a single, specific product ID, Search Ads 360 cannot further subdivide it or any of its children.

  • The product group's “Everything else” child is excluded.
Products in an excluded "Everything Else" group cannot receive traffic, so there are no eligible products to divide.

Search Ads 360 stops subdividing product groups once the ad group contains 2,000 product groups. If your campaign includes more than 10,000 product IDs, consider creating multiple ad groups in the campaign and set up each ad group so that its product groups include no more than 10,000 product IDs.

Search Ads 360 can subdivide a product group by the product ID attribute if the group contains more than one product.
