View and manage sFTP endpoints

View connection details for an existing sFTP endpoint 

  1. Sign into Search Ads 360 with a Google account that has agency manager or advertiser manager permissions and navigate to an advertiser.
    Steps for navigating to an advertiser
    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. In the left navigation panel, click Advertiser settings.
  3. Click the Integrations▼ tab and select sFTP connections.

  4. In the reporting table, select the checkbox next to an sFTP connection.

  5. Click Edit▼ tab and select Edit details....

  6. View connection information under Connection details (generated by Search Ads 360).
    All of the connection information is visible except the password. If you don't remember the password, reset it.

Reset password for an sFTP endpoint 

Search Ads 360 generates the password for an sFTP connection. You can't specify your own. If you forget the password:

  1. Sign into Search Ads 360 with a Google account that has agency manager or advertiser manager permissions and navigate to an advertiser.
    Steps for navigating to an advertiser
    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. In the left navigation panel, click Advertiser settings.
  3. Click the Integrations▼ tab and select sFTP connections.

  4. In the reporting table, select the checkbox next to an sFTP connection.

  5. Click Edit▼ tab and select Edit details....

  6. Click Reset password under Connection details (generated by Search Ads 360).
    Search Ads 360 generates a new password and updates the endpoint to accept only the new password.

  7. Copy the password and paste it into a password manager or some other system you use to store passwords securely. 

  8. Click Save to close the endpoint details and permanently hide the password.

Remove an sFTP endpoint 

  1. Sign into Search Ads 360 with a Google account that has agency manager or advertiser manager permissions and navigate to an advertiser.
    Steps for navigating to an advertiser
    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. In the left navigation panel, click Advertiser settings.

  3. Click the Integrations▼ tab and select sFTP connections.

  4. In the reporting table, select the checkbox next to an sFTP connection.

  5. Click Edit▼ tab and select Remove.

Search Ads 360 removes the endpoint. Attempts to connect to the removed endpoint will return an error.
