You can review the changes made to your draft site since the last time it was published in a side-by-side comparison.
- On your computer, open a site in new Google Sites.
- At the top, click Publish.
- The screen will split into a side-by-side display, with the draft on the left and the current published version on the right.
- Annotations on the left show unpublished changes to your site.
- To show a different page, on the left, click a page.
- To return to the draft site to make changes, in the top left, click Back .
- When you’re ready to publish the draft, in the top right, click Publish.
Tip: To check who last updated the page, at the top, point to Info .
Turn off pre-publish review
Reviewing the latest changes to your site before publishing is automatically turned on. To turn off this feature for a single site:
- On your computer, open a site in new Google Sites.
- At the top, next to "Publish", click Publish options Publish settings.
- Uncheck "Editors must review changes before publishing."
- Click Save.
