Transfer Preferred Care
Preferred Care two-year plan for Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro and older items can be transferred to a new owner. You can request to transfer Preferred Care to the new owner at mydeviceprotect.com.
Important:
- Transfers only work in the country or region where the item was bought. For example, if you bought the item in the US, you can’t transfer Preferred Care if you give the item to someone in Canada.
- Preferred Care can’t be transferred to a different item. It covers only the item with which it was purchased.
- Preferred Care two-year plan for Pixel 6a and newer items and Preferred Care monthly coverage plans can't be transferred to a new owner.
If you return your phone to Google within 30 days of purchase, we’ll automatically cancel your Preferred Care plan. We'll also refund you the full price of the plan.
