Your device’s condition can change the trade-in value.
Trade-in value may decrease if:
- The device doesn’t turn on or off.
- There’s a problem with the charging port.
- The device screen or body:
- Is unresponsive, cracked, damaged, or bruised.
- Has missing pixels.
- LCD is dark or burnt out.
- The device has a damaged or swollen battery.
- A factory reset hasn’t been performed and the activation lock is still on.
- The model received is different from the one selected.
- The device is shipped more than 30 days after the new device was delivered.
- The device is reported lost or stolen.
Important: Do not send in devices with damaged or swollen batteries. These devices can’t be returned for credit.
