If the post-inspection value of your trade-in device is the same as the estimated value:

You'll get a credit to the form of payment used to buy your new device.

If the value of your trade-in credit is more than the cost of your new Pixel device excluding taxes, you'll get the excess amount as a Google Store credit.

If the post-inspection value of your trade-in device is less than the estimated trade-in value:

If you checked Accept the new value if it changes after inspection during the purchase process, you’ll get a credit for the new value. The credit will be applied to your payment method.

If you unchecked Accept the new value if it changes after inspection during the purchase process, we’ll send your device back to you and you won’t get a credit.

- If the purchased device is returned:
- The post-inspection value of the trade-in is issued in the form of Store Credit.
