Google Tag Assistant Recordings is part of the Google Tag Assistant Chrome extension.

Get Google Tag Assistant

Record and analyze a flow

  • 1Go to a page that begins the journey to your site.

  • 2 Click the Google Tag Assistant icon.

  • 3 Click RECORD.

  • 4Reload the starting page in order to begin recording with that page.

  • 5Navigate through an important flow of pages and actions.

  • 6 Click the Google Tag Assistant icon again, then click STOP.

  • 7 Click Show Full Report.

  • 8 Select the GOOGLE ANALYTICS REPORT tab.

  • 9 Select one or more views.

  • 10 Examine the report for alert messages.

  • 11 Make any changes to your Analytics settings, then click Update Report to see the results.
