Use notifications for tasks

You can receive task notifications in the Google app, Google Tasks and Google Calendar. If two or more apps are installed on your phone, only one app will notify you. For example, if the Tasks app isn't installed but you have Calendar and the Google app, Calendar will notify you.

Tip: To get notifications, add a date and time to your task. Learn how to add or edit a task.

  3. At the top, tap the desired Focus.
  4. Under 'Allow notifications', tap Apps and then Add apps and then Tasks and then Done.
