With Google Transit, you can tell users about current or future service disruptions that may affect their trip with realtime service alerts. On your Transit partner dashboard, you can share this info through a GTFS Realtime feed or manually create an alert on the manual service alert editor.

If you publish service alert info somewhere other than the Google Transit partner dashboard, Google may reproduce this info within Google Maps to help our users.
Manage alerts or opt out
You can view, edit, and delete the alerts created by Google in the Transit partner dashboard. Contact us to opt out from Google-supported service alerts.
