You can use the details and reports in the Data tab to monitor your Realtime data pipelines and review the quality of your data over time.
Monitor the details of your Realtime pipelines
- In the Transit Data Sharing Portal, click Data.
- On the page that opens, click Realtime.
- In the table, review the details of your pipelines:
- Name
- Visibility
- Last transfer time
- Creation time
- Parent static pipeline info (version and visibility, if available)
- Entities in the pipeline
- Issues detected
- To review any issues with a pipeline, hover your mouse over the number of Issues.
Review reports for your Realtime data pipelines
Reports are generated daily and cover feed issues for the previous 8 days.
To view reports for your data pipelines:
- Starting on the Data page, click Realtime.
- When the “Realtime“ tab page opens, click the Realtime pipeline you want.
- In the table, click View (in the Reports column) for the data pipeline you want to review.
- Pick a date range and click View issue to see a report showing an overview of the issues detected in your Realtime feed.
- Pick a data range a click View coverage to see a report of the coverage of your feed, including:
- Routes with no realtime coverage
- Routes with average realtime coverage
- Routes with good realtime coverage
Coverage reports are only available for Realtime feeds of trip updates and vehicle positions. Service alerts don’t have coverage reports.
