You can make a Google Voice call from a computer or mobile device. Calls use about 0.2 MB of data per minute.
The amount of data that you use depends on your operator's network quality and speed. To use Google Voice to make calls through your mobile operator, link your mobile number.
Learn which features work on Google Voice calls
- You can't use incoming call options, such as call recording and call transfer, on a computer or mobile device.
- If you use a Bluetooth® device, you might not be able to use the device buttons to answer or end calls.
Make emergency calls
You can only make emergency calls if your work or school manages your Voice for Google Workspace account. If your Voice for Google Workspace calls go through your mobile operator rather than Wi-Fi or mobile data, your mobile operator handles your emergency calls.
